Students were given time to think about what they would like to prepare in class and brought the ingredients from home, accordingly. They assembled their dishes in class and these were judged by an external facilitator, based on creativity, taste and presentation.

Students were encouraged to recite their favorite poem in class. Teachers also chose a theme and recited poems to students.
